Think Before Trolling the GOI

If you are aware of the promises scribbled in the manifesto of the BJP, you cannot help but to say that they had almost won, they promised Triple Talaq Bill and they brought it

Recently, I came across the cover of the Outlook magazine which blames the Indian Government on a title of ‘Missing’. Likewise, I had found multitudes of the Journals, daily newspapers and social media posts which vehemently criticize the Government of India over its bad governance and treatment over the current situation. They accuse the government over the inefficiency of oxygen in hospitals, they move to court over the misallocation of health infrastructure, they criticize the government over the lack of freedom of expression and to raise voices against the slapping of UAPA and blah blah blah.

But, I just want to raise the hand of objection against all these 'anti-national' voices, let me ask you a question, do you think that the BJP or Modi Government had failed in the governance? I am sure that even not at all, many of you must reply with a double Yes, but let me slightly change this question and ask you again whether the BJP or Modi Government had failed in fulfilling the promises given to the voters?

If you are aware of the promises scribbled in the manifesto of the BJP, you cannot help but to say that they had almost won, they promised Triple Talaq Bill and they brought it along with arresting many Muslims under it, they promised abrogation of special privilege for Kashmir under the article 370 and implemented it with housing a number of political leaders for the sake of smooth transition of the law, they promised the Ram Mandir Temple in the place of Babari Masjid and made it with complete assist of the Supreme court, they promised citizenship register for Assam and they made it along with building detention centers for those who are excluded from it, at last they promised building of a new parliament vista which is also progressing in war footing despite the surge of Covid-19 in the country.

If you are still criticizing the government, I would explain the aforementioned things in another set of words, look, this government had not promised you building of the hospitals and oxygen plants, they did not promise you better health, infrastructure and social assistance, they did not promise you free vaccines and life-saving drugs, they did not promise you social justice and law and order, they did not promise your personal security and freedom of expression, they did not promise you women empowerment and educational development. Beyond all, they never promised you any employment opportunities or food to eat.

Now you can consider yourself whether there is a government in India or not.
