She layeth herself down,
Her heart pining under the soft breeze,
Though her soul wrapped around the flame,
But her body so close to freeze.
She pondered over afterlife,
Her face too wrinkled and hollow,
For her ribs all started to creak,
Knowing her life left is too shallow.
Her soul left her body and groaned,
After minutes of yearning for the night sky,
Her body did remain cold and still,
But star's light shone in her eyes
And as she reached the heaven's gate,
Dumped her two feet in the sand,
Saw the true course of utter beauty,
Perhaps earthly minds will ever understand.
Maybe her screams weren't too loud,
To be heard by the humans perhaps,
But the heaven notices every star,
And the one which is about to collapse !
