Susan Nathan, a British-born Jewish writer. Born to a British Jew family. Her migration to Israel in 1999 at the time of the Law of Return. She Settled in Tel Aviv the capital city of Israel after departing from England. This book is a mixture, contains her own life experiences from both Israel and Arab land. When we read Palestine there is plenty of books, capable to be a big library. But why do we choose this book is important to note.

In the time of most of the Israeli men forced to believe what the Zionist terrorists feed them, she thought about the problems of Arabs in Israel (Israeli Arabs). She thought about the humans living around her in complete negligence. This book mainly focuses on the Arab's live in Israel and the problems faced by them.

She wrote this book from her realization that the nation of Israel is formed on the foundation of complete abhorrence. Zionists pretended as stewards of Jews and they created an incomplete figure of authority over Jews.

Susan Nathan realized that much of the Arab population in Israel were completely neglected, oppressed and they are far from the mainstream spotlight. Therefore in 2003, she moved from her home in Tel Aviv to the Arab city of Tamrah in northern Israel. Despite her friends warned her about the consequences. Albeit, She was so strong in her view.

With 25000 peoples in a small area, Tamrah is an Arab populated area In occupied Israel, located in the northern part of Israel. It has been captured by the Israeli forces from the Arab liberation army during the Arab Israeli war in1948. This is a very small area with a larger hit in population.

She shifted her home from Tel Aviv to Tamrah to know the lives of Arabs. She was the only one Jew among the 25000 Arabs.

At her first visit to Tamrah, she had been stoned and welcomed by bad words. Because the Arabs hated Jews and their settlements bothered them more than ever after their victory over Palestine.

Her writings were interesting. listening to one's life lessons was more interesting than others. She talked about the Palestinians lives in a small town that had faced many problems. After she was invited by a Palestinian family and she became a part of that Arab land.

Whenever she returns to Tel Aviv. she had to face the Walls that hesitantly made to cover the Arab cities like the west bank and Tamrah. She had to face many security restrictions as an Arab in their land. From there she realizes the great wall created between Arabs and Jews. The division between the Arab and Israel is in large hype. she talks about the Israeli unraveling nexus against humanity.

From her vantage point of narration, she describes the day-to-day life of Arabs. In this book, she also examines the history and current political-cultural scenario of Israel. She also portrays the daily life of her neighbors, the challenges they encounter, and the hopes they harbor. They are in hope that one day it will be okay. this is what about their lives. Their hope is in a complete vacuum.

Shee says in this book that Arab leaders are fighting against the segregation and the discrimination that they face. Nevertheless, She insists that their fight is against the vituperative campaigns of Israel.

She is telling the grim tale of humans on the other side. The side far from our imagination.

Israel's apartheid against Palestinians is in the steep surge. It grows at a blistering pace. Israeli Arabs were starving from food and appropriate education. She criticizes the govt against the domination of the state over the education of Palestinians.

This is a book on Arabs living in Israel and their problems. She glorifies the efforts of some Israeli Arabs who insist that they must be granted the and privileges as Jew citizens. By living in a land that had been neglected and being a part of that land she proves the courage that she had. She endorsed equal rights for the Jews and Arabs and they must lives peacefully together.

This book is more than a journey of a woman. This is a sketch of the neglected ones, her canvas was filled with the portraits that she got from Tamarah.
