There is no doubt that the life of the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) is an ideal example that every Muslim or human should adhere to. Prophet Muhammed(s) is depicted in many ways by many people over the years and it continues. When a writer starts to write a book about Prophet Muhammed(s), the question will arise – what to write again, what is something new that I can add to the book? The author, Hussain Gubash, tries to solve all the questions here through his book.
This book is highlighting the life of Prophet Muhammed(s) who was the messenger of peace and knowledge. So, more than a prophet, Muhammad (s) is renowned for his personality, leadership, and religious guidance.
Dr.Hussain Gubash is known for his patron and historic writing. So, when the author himself has a good perspective about Islamic history, his book will also reflect his interests and thoughts.
The book, ‘Muhammed (s)’, starts with the history of Arabs and Prophet Muhammed(s)’s ancestors. Along with that, it enlightens the life of Arabia in that era; how the tribes of Arabia followed their traditions and rituals, and the cultures of Arabs in the ‘Jahiliya Age’.
Dr.Hussain Gubash narrates the Prophet Muhammed(s) in many ways – from His childhood to His last days. As we know, the biography of Muhammed(s) was written in several languages. Most of these reflect the truth, while some do not. Therefore, the author worked hard to help everyone visualize everything from the Prophet (s)’s life.
The message of this book is clear. I think the author is relishing every reader’s mind. As a history-lover, I chose this book as it gives us a great message, this book is not turgid or difficult to understand and wirtten in a simple narrative. So, I would love to recommend this book to everyone because it is a great example that all should follow and adopt into one’s life.
