After taking stock of a new incident that Mysuru MP, Mr Pratap Simha instigated and filed a petition to rename a train plies between Mysuru-Bengaluru Tippu express to Wodeyar express whose massive contributions to the development of railways was immense and sincere, made no changes in me. Usually, renaming anything, either a new name should be better than old or be more prominent where people come forward requesting to change it.
Do you think that the Tippu sultan hadn't contributed anything to Mysuru or to the state? If so, let us go through his biography wherein it clarifies his entire life stories which include his contributions and sacrifices, with mesmerising facts. All these indicate that he was more benevolent than we think. By admiring him, it doesn't mean that we are degrading and declining other popular emperors' contributions like Nalwadi Krishnaraja who submitted his life and will for the sake of the people and welfare of society. The point to be noted here is what caused them to come up with changing names? Is Pratap Simha following incumbent chief minister Mr yogi Adityanath who changed Faizabad to Ayodhya and Allahabad to Prayagraj, and also likely to change Aligarh to Harigarh, Firozabad to Chandra Nagar and Mainpuri to Mayan Nagar?
This is a merely polarising agenda of RSS to exterminate Muslims from this country and to make it their own before 2024. Hence, they are nullifying Islamic ideology and bringing into the discussion like triple talaq, love jihad, hijab etc and demeaning the historical monuments like Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Charminar and so on. So they can prove that Muslims are migrants who deserved to settle in Pakistan and these historical monuments are seized by Muslims as how they are done and doing now. Kapil Mishra, BJP leader, shared an article on Twitter along with a caption claiming the Taj Mahal is a Hindu temple which is dedicated to lord shiva. He further says " All scientific evidence proves that Taj mahal is a Tejo Mahalaya, ancient Hindu Vedi temple.
Actually, what is the profound history of the Taj mahal? Is it belongs to Hindus? No, not at all. It is a Mausoleum complex that houses the tombs of Mumtaz Mahal and her husband, Shah Jahan, Mughal emperor who erected it to immortalize an inseparable companion in the 17th century. It is situated in the eastern part of the city on the southern bank of the Yamuna which took a span of 22 years to finish its construction on 42 acres.
Maharaja Jai Singh is the one who gave this property to Shah Jahan and he returned it in the palace to him. This is a basic overview of the Taj mahal. Then how it is possible to deny its fame and history?
