Dynastic Politics in Contemporary India

The Indian bloc's hopes for victory in the election were dashed when the exit poll results were announced. However, Sonia Gandhi expressed optimism about the bloc's chances, fearing the predictions. Ultimately, the NDA bloc emerged as the winners, with a last-minute switch from Akshay Gandhi Bam to the BJP. The INC encouraged voters to choose NOTA, which saw a significant increase in vote share compared to previous elections. Candidates were categorized into Muslims, turncoats, dynasts, incumbents, and freshers, with varying levels of success. Chandra Babu Naidu and Nitheesh Kumar opposed the BJP's ideologies and made demands for positions in exchange for support, which were ultimately rejected.

Many were waiting with hopes that the INDIA bloc would be the ultimate winners of the election that every indian had been waiting for 5 years. Many lost their hope when the exit poll results were declared but regained their hope when Sonia Gandhi said that she was hopeful that the Indian bloc would completely change and feared the outcome of the exit poll prediction. This was reported by the press trust of India when they came to survey Sonia “We have to wait, just wait and see” but the result came out on 4/6/2024 and the victory was for the NDA bloc. At the last minute just ahead of the general elections indoors Akshay Gandhi Bam moved or changed to (BJP) Bharatiya Janata Party from INC Indian National Congress, therefore, INC hailed voters to vote for none of the above (NOTA) and their plan or change of plan was succeeded by the official posters which were posted on above 4000 auto-rickshaw and by the people's door to door information, the NOTA vote share is much higher when compared to 2019 Election and 2024 Election. 2019 Elections NOTA vote was 0.3% and changed to 14% or (2.18 lakh) this year (2024). In the 2024 election candidates were mainly classified into five groups which were muslims, turncoats, dynasts, incumbents, and freshers. There were 68 muslim candidates of which 22 were winning and the remaining 40 were losing. Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh had four Muslim candidates none had lost and 19 Muslims were candidates for congress of which 7 had won. CPI(M) Muslim candidates were 11 and none of them had won the all-India Majlis-e-ittehadul Muslimeen candidates 11 only one of them got to win and BJP’s one and only Muslim candidate, Abdul Salam, lost there were 80 young dynasts and in it 44 were winning and 35 congress dynast candidates were there in which 18 won and BJP dynast were 23 in number and in it, 13 had won. To create an amendment it is required that a party should have the majority vote. The NDA bloc’s total seat is 293 therefore it is not possible to pass an amendment unanimously.

Chandra Babu Naidu (TDP) and Nitheesh Kumar do not accept the ideologies of the BJP for example they both urged on caste senses and should remove or reject agniveer project but this was disapproved by BJP and they both came up with demands such as they needed 5 central minister position, parliament speaker, position, 6 central ministers (for Chandrababu), economic minister position, etc.
