In his chambered hole

Gropes the worm

And the clawed mole.

In the evening sky,

The hooded bat

Twirls softly by.

All but blind

In the evening time,

The barn owl glides

On her way.

All but blind

Deep beneath the sea,

The little cave fish

Swims silently.

All but blind

In the darkest night,

Yet each one finds

Its path is just right.
 

All but blind,

Still they live and grow.

Nature guides them

More than we know.
